1 more paper on monday. wonder how i had fared for the other papers. econs- totally sux cos i neglected 1 set of notes. maths- not really good cos i did too slowly n figured out a 4 mark q only when i got home. computing- i'm most confident abt this cos it was quite ok. stats- unpredictable since the whole cohort seems to be doing so well for it. 1 mark can means a difference in grade. i'm not very confident abt calculus but i wanna get A for tt. since it is almost similar to A levels maths. the past 2 tests very so easy tt more than 1/2 of the pple i know got full marks for them. my 1st sem will be over soon. time really flies.
had my 1st paper today. ECONS! screwed it up quite badly... 70MCQs in 2 hrs. i thot the paper was tough cos i haven't seen some of the q b4. but turned out tt my frens said it was quite ok. then i realised that most of the q which i din noe how to do, came from a set of notes which i din read. the set of notes was actually an intro to macroeconomics so i decided to skip it. that was a big mistake. i had hoped to get at least an A- for all modules this sem. now i think i can count myself lucky if i get a B+ for ECONS. this sux. it's my 1st sem and i'm already screwing things up for myself. how can i become an honours student if this continues??!! hope i can do better for the rest of the papers. 1 down n 4 more to go.
sometimes i feel so glad that i'm healthy. i dun need to be smart or anything. life is so unpredictable. i may be healthy now, but the next moment i may be down with a dreadful disease. so juz enjoy my life while i can. live everyday like my last.. haha... tt is too kua zhang.
Exams coming up soon... so fast. uni life is horrible... we get exams after 13 weeks of school. i can't imagine wat my uni life wld be from next year onwards. gonna think abt which module to take next sem liao... must plan ahead. everyone seems to be doing well for stats... it's a supposedly easy module.. hope i can at least get A-. i wonder wat is the % of A for each subject. i MUST get A for my maths module. the rest i dun really care tt much. i got 46/46 for my recent calculus test.. ain't very happy abt it for 2 particular reasons: 1) my fren said out of 20 pple in her class, abt 3 DIN get full marks. 2) i looked at the curve drawn by someone opp me.. then i spotted my mistake. so it's not all abt my own efforts. today i felt super sian during maths lect... everything sounds abstract. remembe the word modulus which we learnt b4?... x.. now i learnt smthing called modulo... 7 = 2 mod5. modulo is very useful... a mathematican named Fermat had so many theorems. today we learnt Little Fermat's theorem. the other day we learnt Fermat's last theorem a.k.a Big Fermat's theorem. ok that's all for today.. i like to have colourful posts! gonna study for exams soon... my econs test is all MCQ! for 2 hrs.. gonna read my econs TYS to prepare for it.
